My Story

Hi, I’m Tehila.

My journey into the arts began at six years old. I remember the quiet wonder of attending art classes, exploring art stores, and watching my father carefully build scale models while studying architecture. Growing up surrounded by that sense of texture and design deeply shaped my eye.

In high school, that curiosity found its true medium when I watched the film Stepmom. Seeing the intense passion and creativity poured into preserving family moments made me realize that photography speaks a unique language: it is the single best way to revive a memory, allowing us to hold life beautifully on pause.

Driven by this passion while studying art theory, found my inspiration in the raw, unscripted honesty of street photography and daily life, and the perfect angle for a composition. This path led me to a degree in Fine Arts. Specialized training in ceramics and pottery earned me the honor of collaborating from scratch on a large-scale pendulum mosaic for the university. Later, that same fine-art lens allowed me to showcase my own mixed-media digital art and architectural photography in a gallery exhibition.

As much as I treasured those milestones, they taught me that the most moving artwork happens in real life.

Today, I bring that entire artistic heritage to families here in Houston, Texas. My style is intentionally simple, elegant, and unforced—guided by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe's philosophy that "Less is more." I am not drawn to rigid poses or forced smiles; I look for the gentle, candid moments that happen naturally when you are simply being yourself. You don’t have to worry about being perfect in front of my lens. Just bring your heart, and let's pause time together.
